Steelers Community Relations revealed on Twitter Wednesday that Steelers first-rounder Najee Harris, Zach Banner, and the retired Vance McDonald showed up for a community charity event with Convoy of Hope.
If you have never heard of Convoy of Hope , Convoy of Hope is an organization that delivers and hands out food, water, and other supplies to impoverished or ailing communities.
And that’s just what Harris, Banner, and McDonald did.
Through the charity, they were able to “bring the basic necessities and some treats to families in the Pittsburgh area.”
And as for Harris, he helped some of Pittsburgh’s neighborhoods this early into his NFL career — some things just transcend draft grades.
