The Athletic’s Shams Charania first reported that the Detroit Pistons reportedly signed guard Carsen Edwards to a two-year deal.

Edwards, a 5-11 guard, was drafted 33rd overall in 2019 by the Boston Celtics, where he played for two seasons. He was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies last September but was waived shortly after. He spent most of this season with the Salt Lake City Stars.

In 31 games with the Stars, Edwards averaged 26.7 points and 4.2 assists on 46.4 percent shooting from the floor and 38.3 percent shooting from three.
